The Logistics Specialist is an entry level position that will be provided the training and support needed in order to become a successful Account Manager once training is complete, and go above and beyond for your clients.

• Job Type: Full Time
• Pay: Base + Commission eligible after training (approximately 2-3 months)

Essential Duties

• Learn how to track and communicate with contractual carriers
• Learn effective and desirable transit and appointment times for local and over-the-road shipments
• Learn how to use multiple industry tools to effectively quote and negotiate competitive pricing for current and future customers
• Learn how to proactively communicate any successes and issues with colleagues, clients, and carriers
• LEARN - Be ready and open to learn at all times

• Exceptional Interpersonal Skills - Collaboration, Problem-Solving, Dependability, Adaptability, etc...
• Sense of Urgency - Must be able to make quick and informed decisions
• Prioritization and Organization - Must be able to exhibit strong organization so candidate knows how to prioritize any potential issues and/or successes
• Computer Skills - Must have basic computer knowledge regarding Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Experience/Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required in any field
• No experience necessary. This is an entry level position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
