GENERAL POSITION OVERVIEW
The Equipment Coordinators main function is the daily monitoring, planning and management of all equipment assets within the scope of the company’s guidelines and procedures. To ensure operational efficiency while monitoring costs to minimize expenditures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Monitor equipment inventories daily and determine needs based on provided factors
- Closely monitor and report on idling, damaged and missing assets
- Communicate and work closely with other departments and external vendors to fulfill required duties
- Help truckers, shippers and sales with equipment issues and assist in helping them acquire equipment
- Prepare, monitor and analyze weekly reports as set forth by management in line with KPI’s
- In depth review and strict invoice auding of vendors and dispute discrepansies
- Report directly to the Depeartment Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Must have good Interpersonal skills and good communication skills both verbally and written
- Must be a self-starter and able to work individually and in a team environment
- Be able to handle heavy email traffic
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- College degree preferred or High School Diploma + equivalent combination of education and work experience, but not required
- Any industry experience a plus but not required
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of Logistics, Transportation, or fleet management a plus
- Proficient Microsoft office skills (Excel / Word)
- Must be able to multi-task and problem solve
ENVIRONMENT / EQUIPMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work performed in an office environment where the noise level is moderate. Regularly required to stand, sit, and walk around the office. Frequently required to work on a computer. Occasionally required to use force to lift, push and pull up to 20 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
