The Opportunity
Goodman Manufacturing, a member of Daikin Industries is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Logistics Solutions Specialist role at our DTTP - Waller, TX location. The Logistics Solutions Specialist Analyzes and executes service parts inventory procurement and deployment strategies to support business sales plans and meet business inventory goals. Uses data, analytics, and effective customer/vendor communication skills to meet company inventory stocking policies. Uses technology, systems, and problem-solving skills to execute strategy in a dynamic environment. Establishes, maintains, and communicates statistical data on the tracking of sales and inventory. Manages individual and department projects that help meet company goals that include efficiency and service to the customer.

About DTTP
Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman,Amana, and Daikin brands.

May include;
- Mine and extract data to generate reports that assist in performance tracking and decision making
- Analyze logistics operations and build decision support systems
- Analyze sales trends and use predictive demand planning analysis to prepare and manage vendor purchases
- Manage vendor relations and facilitate shipping discrepancies
- Manage company-owned distributor stocking plans and coordinate specialized customer needs
- Conduct research as needed to respond to customer requests
- Collaborate with Sales, Corporate Purchasing, Vendors, Marketing, Manufacturing Scheduling, Quality, Finance, Warranty, IT, and Production Planning teams to align customer needs with supply
- Monitor and review product availability for some focused product class(es) group
- Provide suggestions and implement plans to improve business processes
- Identify value-creation opportunities for the company
- Develop and implement solutions (both simple solutions using existing technology and infrastructure as well as complex solutions using the latest technologies such as machine learning, program automation, sophisticated optimization algorithms, etc.
- Ensure projects and solutions are completed on time and according to specification
- Maintain high quality data governance
- Coordinating vendor information to share with customers
Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects, with various teams including engineers and supply chain personnel.
- Good judgment & decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and creative problem-solving skills.

Experience:
- 0 2 years
- Experience with SQL, Tableau. Power BI, Advance Microsoft Excel
Education:
Bachelors degree - Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Science, or Computer Science
