Logistics Engineer

Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates with stakeholders and technical leads to procure and track software licenses
• Supports Hardware and Software configuration management
• Supports the management of hardware and software obsolescence
• Assesses system and software reliability, maintainability, and availability
• Researches and recommends innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and logistics tasks

Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Minimum of five+ (5+) years of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
• Experience with Hardware and Software Configuration Management and Procurement
• Experience with tracking and managing Software licenses
• Up to 10% travel may be required
• Must currently hold a DoD 8570-compliant IAT II certification (SSCP or Security+ CE with appropriate CE/OS certificate) or be able to obtain within six months

DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, logistics, or a related field
• Experience with Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
• Experience with working in an Agile methodology environment
• Leadership experience highly desired
