Mad Engine Global is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing our Supply Chain operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, and facilitating seamless collaboration across various departments. Serving as the intermediary between planning and purchasing, you will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities to meet production demands while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning) team to ensure accurate reflection of existing on-hand inventory in planning processes.
- Partner with the SIOP team to determine optimal mill purchases required to maintain house inventory at desired levels, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) for processing times.
- Work closely with planning teams to address specific needs beyond SIOP planning, identifying the most suitable resource for procurement.
- Liaise with Sales team members to optimize program-specific blank quantities utilizing available on-hand inventory.
- Collaborate with the Sr Domestic Allocations Manager on various projects and reporting initiatives.
- Evaluate inventory reports to detect anomalies and devise corrective action plans, minimizing associated risks.
- Develop strategic sourcing plans for blank inventory and effectively communicate them to internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze existing on-hand inventory to identify stagnant or slow-moving items, facilitating their return to the original mill source or marking them down for off-price retailer use.
- Prepare requests for quote (RFQ) when pursuing chase opportunities outside of forecasts, aiming for improved costing.
- Formulate purchasing plans for programs falling outside forecasts, facilitating Allocation team’s optimization of on-hand inventory through order-specific purchase orders.
- Assist the Allocation team with inquiries regarding substitutions, shading comparisons, and similar scenarios.
- Coordinate bulk mill PO shipment approvals with the Operations team to ensure staffing and readiness for receipt/cross-docking.
- Collaborate with the Planning team on projections for non-mill purchases as necessary.
- Engage with Executive-level management on inventory analyses, mill costing evaluations, and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate proficiency in analytics and Excel reporting across various organizational levels.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with primary mill suppliers and vendors.
- Facilitate timely and accurate communication with Sales, Planning, Production, and Allocations teams, ensuring prompt dissemination of updates for effective decision-making.
- Flexibility to travel between Mexico and US offices as needed.
- Actively contribute to Supply Chain optimization initiatives, leveraging analytical skills and industry expertise to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain management or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
