This is what you’ll do:
Ensure Client products meet global substance of concern and recyclability regulations, such as: California Prop 65; Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH); European Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS); Reusability / Recyclability / Recoverability (RRR); End of Life Vehicle (ELV) Directive, Conflict Minerals and similar regulations.
Manage multiple programs to support product Regulatory Material compliance.
Oversee and manage Material Compliance evaluation for new parts and components as well as changes on existing parts and components.
Monitor the status of global regulations as they are updated and research new market entry requirements.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliant material submissions are provided for all parts on schedule.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to remedy any parts that do not comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
Management of environmental compliance programs, including coordinating of activities with supply chain team, purchase management team, legal team, engineering team, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
This is what you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Environmental Science or equivalent in experience.
3+ years of experience managing projects.
3+ years of experience with environmental regulations, such as: Prop65, ROHS, REACH, ELV, RRR and others.
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Familiarity with IMDS or Assent Compliance Management system.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the Client organization as well as with external suppliers and vendors.
