Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods and materials to ensure timely delivery
- Oversee order fulfillment process, including tracking shipments and resolving any issues or delays
- Procure necessary materials and supplies from suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with production planning team to ensure smooth flow of materials for manufacturing
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize logistics operations
- Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and resolving any issues that arise
- Implement and maintain supply chain management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct category management activities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed to support logistics operations

Experience:
- Proven experience in transportation management and logistics coordination
- Strong knowledge of order fulfillment processes and freight management
- Experience in procuring materials from suppliers and managing supplier relationships
- Familiarity with production planning concepts and practices
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems to optimize logistics operations
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
