Loan Operations Specialists assist loan officers with day-to-day operations. Employees in this position must demonstrate general knowledge of all loan products and services.
Responsibilities:
• Emulate SSB&T Core Values
• Collect needed documents to process loans
• Review and close loans
• Provide customer service from application of loan thru loan payoff
• Prepare and file UCC’s
• Prepare, monitor and scan loan documents
• Prepare loan packages for Loan Committee meetings
• Run Daily and End of Month reports
• Work interim construction loan draw documentation
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:Qualifications:
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Microsoft Office, Word and Excel knowledge
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate excellent typing skills
• Understanding of various types of loans and related regulations preferred
• Working knowledge with loans preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to obtain a Notary Public Commission if not already certified
• Having great interpersonal skills
