Job Description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Working independently and/or with other operations personnel, the candidate will serve as a point of contact for customers and the Field Operations team to ensure customer requirements are met for job sites. This position requires a well-rounded individual willing to be trained to perform all duties in accordance with prescribed safety, regulatory, and standard operating policies, and procedures. The candidate should possess good verbal and written communication skills including good interpersonal skills with internal departments and management. The candidate must also possess mechanical aptitude and a willingness to travel up to 50%.
PRIMARYDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supervise day to day operations occurring at customer facilities and Stabilis job sites.
· Schedule and plan duties related to the maintenance and operation of Mobile LNG equipment and delivery truck transfers and operations.
· Schedule and execute technical support plan for various jobs, requirements in remote locations around the United States. Maintain operational efficiency and excellence.
· Enforce all company, customer safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance.
· Supervise Field Technicians, develop/mentor staff, provide training, direction, and perform general administrative duties such as reviewing and approving time sheets, expenses, travel arrangements and conducting performance reviews.
· Minimize labor, expense and travel cost while maximizing operational excellence
· Proactively address any issues or challenges that arise within the team, seeking solutions and providing guidance to team members
· Continuously monitor team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
· Ability to troubleshoot operating equipment, piping, valves, actuators, pumps, motors, control systems and instrumentation.
· Ability to read, understand and comprehend service and owner manuals, written standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other company documentation.
· Ability to troubleshoot with off-site engineers and technical support staff to successfully resolve complex problems.
Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma, or GED is required. A bachelor’s degree or technical certification is preferred in business, engineering, technical discipline, or other related experience
· Minimum one (1) year experience supervising hourly personnel including scheduling and arranging travel.
· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience supervising in petroleum or chemical industry; LNG and/or cryogenic experience a plus.
· Possess a solid foundational understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic principles and their practical application. Ability to identify equipment, source PID internally/eternally to troubleshoot remotely with onsite personnel.
· Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint/ OneDrive, and the ability to make mathematical computations using Excel is required. Understand and execute tasks using remote access software in virtual (VM or VPN) environment.
· Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination with field staff, other departments, and management.
· Possessing the ability to multi-task, prioritize, critically think and problem solve in demanding industrial environments is critical.
· Must be able to identify components on a piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) schematics and locate them in the field.
· Must be able to identify components in an electrical/mechanical schematic and locate them on equipment in the field.
· Ability to read, understand and comprehend service manuals, PID, schematics, written procedures, and other company documentation.
· Ability to use, maintain and enforce personal protective equipment standards (i.e., safety toe boots, hard hat, flame retardant clothing, ear/eye protection).
· Must be able to operate company equipment and vehicles.
· Ability to travel as needed.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license, with a safe driving record and ability to rent a vehicle from the Company’s preferred rental car vendors.
· Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening and occupational medical exam.
· Ability to obtain the TX Railroad Commission certification.
