Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor, you will assist in the various activities involving the daily direct supervision of technician functions including but not limited workflow, call-in, scheduling, automation management and quality process within the pharmacy. What You Will Do In This Role:

* You will be under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, oversee operations and coordinate workflow of the pharmacy department.

* You will ensure adherence to all Board of Pharmacy, JCAHO, CMS and FDA standards.

* You will ensure appropriate staffing during call-ins, inclement weather, or periods of increased workload.

* You will ensure pharmacy operations meet all facility pharmacy mandated timeframes and deadlines.

* You will maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers and team members.

* You will provide or coordinate any education needed by pharmacy staff.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

* Bachelor of Science degree or Associate degree is preferred.

* Current Registered Pharmacy Technician by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.

* Certified Pharmacy Technician program certificate is preferred.

* CPhT National Certification is preferred.

* Three years as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician is required.

* Supervisory experience is preferred.
