Our Approach to Therapy:

We are interested in therapists joining our team who value and are interested in non-manualized, non-expert, and non-symptom reduction only models. A better and more clear way to say this is that we are interested in therapists whose main modality is basically anything but C.B.T. or something similar to it. We don't have anything against C.B.T., we just believe that therapy is more of an art than a science and therefore value non-expert, non-manualized, and non-homework assigning forms of therapy for the client experience we provide. We believe when you give clients weekly homework from an instruction manual based form of therapy in the form of worksheets or otherwise that this creates an expert/client relationship that is reminiscent of the teacher/student or one up/one down relationship where the therapist is going to 'do' or 'give' something to the client the same way a doctor or teacher would. We understand that doing so may be helpful in the short term to some people but it is not the experience we want to provide for our clients. We believe therapy should not have a fixed number of sessions from the outset and we take as much time need to learn about our clients and understand them so they heal, grow, and learn valuable insight about themselves that they can apply over the long term to truly solidify their growth and resilience. We value person-centered, humanistic, mindfulness, post-modern, and psychodynamic forms of therapy where the focus is on providing a safe space for the client to share their deepest thoughts, painful feelings, and life stories to unearth the answers to their healing and growth that lie within them. We believe that therapy is more of an art than a science and we look for therapists to join our team who share that belief. We are also looking for someone who already has education, training, or a background in psychodynamic therapy, psychoanalysis, Jungian psychotherapy, existential/humanistic therapy, person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, IFS, Gestalt therapy, EFT, Gottman, Mindfulness, DBT, or Attachment Theory.

Position Details:

We are looking for a full-time Licensed Psychotherapists to join our thriving group practice in Cerritos. We are a hybrid practice offering in-person services at our office locations in Long Beach, Cerritos, and we also provide online tele-therapy throughout California. Candidates must be communicative, driven, creative, collaborative, and enhance our fun, independent, positive minded, and connected group of highly skills clinicians. We are an eclectic, open-minded, holistic, humanistic, and psychodynamic based counseling center. We are looking for pre-licensed therapists that are eager to learn and grow with us. Job Types:

• Licensed therapists, Full-time (25-35 per week)

Pay:

*Starting rate is 60$ per session for 25 clients per week and 65$ per session for 30 clients per week. Depending on number of clients seen per week, client retention, and overall performance the rate can increase to 65-70$ per session after 6 month. 

Schedule:

* The work schedule if very flexible! Full Time Therapists work usually 2-3 days providing in-person service and 2-3 days providing online therapy. This would require commuting to office only 2 days per week if that fits your schedule and location. We are looking for candidates who are able to work between the hours of 2-8pm or 3-8pm at least 3 days a week.

Requirements

• Active CA license of LMFT/LCSW/LPCC
• Strong demonstrated commitment to professional skills including legal and ethical standards.
• Must be available to work during core business hours Monday through Friday but scheduling is flexible.
• Be humble and eager to learn for the group practice building experience
