At F45 Training Sonoma County we are looking for exceptional individuals with a passion for fitness to join our team as Group Fitness Trainers. The Group Fitness Trainers at F45 play a fundamental role within the team, with responsibilities of delivering the trademark F45 premier fitness experience, assessing member fitness levels, and building a community that keeps our members coming back every day. The ideal candidate is reliable, confident, energetic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and professional. A candidate that is a genuine motivator, with an ability to connect with people and a desire to help improve the lives of others, will be most successful at inspiring members and promoting the benefits and community of F45 training. Some responsibilities include:
Group Fitness Trainer Responsibilities:
- Coach 6-15 F45 sessions per week to the highest standard
- Consistently provide an exceptional F45 premier fitness experience; welcoming members by name, motivating members, ensuring attention to all members during classes, and ensuring that members are performing exercises safely and correctly, and that the class overall is receiving a minimum of twenty touch points during the session
- Responsible for accurate check-in of class rosters
- Introduce classes and demonstrate exercises with proper form
Membership responsibilities:
- Inclusivity; Promote a welcoming, fun and energetic community environment
- Daily communications with other coaches and owners regarding clients in classes, with particular focus on active engagement with trialists
- Membership acquisition and retention; collaborate with Head Trainers and management in the sales of trials
- Encourage members to utilize all F45 resources to achieve personal fitness goals
- Handle member concerns by communicating them to Head Trainers
Other responsibilities
- General cleaning and organization of studio
- Promote a culture amongst trainers and members characterized as professional, inclusive, encouraging, goal-oriented and fun
- Participate as an engaged team member, attending mandatory team meetings, social events, team-building activities and lead-generating activities
- Collaborate with Head Trainer to develop/evolve best work practices
- Perform other tasks related to the effective studio operation that may be prescribed from time to time by Management or Owners
- Must possess and maintain NCCA Accredited Fitness Certification (NASM, ACE, NSA, ACSM, PTA Global, AFAA)
- Must possess and maintain CPR/AED certification (First Aid certification is a plus)
- Understanding of functional movement, HIIT, and heart rate focused training
- Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be comfortable with public speaking
- Physically able to complete F45 classes, to move heavy weights (50+ pounds) safely, and able to be on your feet and constantly moving while leading and instructing members for the entirety of workouts
