About the Position
We are expanding our services to encompass specialties that complement our existing expertise in trauma survivors and the LGBTQ+ community. We are seeking compassionate candidates proficient in working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and/or children, with experience treating various diagnoses.
As a member of our outpatient clinical team, you will conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic services to help clients navigate stressors, enhance resilience, and cultivate fulfilling lives.
This full-time W2 position requires availability Monday through Friday, operating on a hybrid schedule with both in-office and telehealth appointments. You will share office space with another clinician, each having alternating office hours.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid DELAWARE license (LCSW, LPCMH, or Psy.D.) in good standing.
- Timely completion of notes.
- Attendance at team meetings and trainings.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Comfortable working with individuals from all walks of life, irrespective of religion, sexuality, gender, etc.
- Professional liability insurance.
Submission to a drug panel and background check.Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling to clients with Mental Health concerns.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address client issues.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Participate in case management activities to coordinate client care.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of Mental Health therapy.
- Perform indirect administrative tasks such as blogging, creating training materials, and assisting with marketing initiatives to support the clinic's outreach efforts.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mental Health counseling or related field.
- Experience in strengths-based approaches and evidence-based interventions (TF-CBT, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, etc.).
- Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox—in addition to EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.
- Familiarity with case management principles and practices.
- Experience in crisis intervention and ability to handle high-stress situations.
- Strong knowledge of Mental Health counseling theories and techniques.
- Crisis intervention skills.
- Group therapy facilitation skills.
