• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30-4:30pm
• Pay Rate: $32.50 - $36.73/hour

Contract Health Care Professionals (HCPs) shall perform essentially the same services as those required by any Air Force or Government service HCP of similar experience and in similar duty assignments. Therefore, while specific tasks are outlined as listed below, responsibilities include but are not necessarily inclusive of tasks in which the HCP shall provide.

All services shall be performed in accordance with established principles, practices, and ethics of the medical, and specialty professions/organizations.The standards of performance for all HCP provided by contractor shall reflect the degree of care, skill, and learning expected of a reasonably prudent Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

RequiredQualification:

Degree:Must hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)

Experience:Have a minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the

independent practice of Clinical Social work in a mental health setting working with an adult population. Must possess the ability to independently: - Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educational, and other diversified backgrounds.

- Individual, family and group psychotherapy, and couples therapy, alcohol and drug

treatment evaluations. - Provide consultation services to other staff, medical personnel,

legal authorities, and military commanders, as required about the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care and compliance with treatment. Must possess the knowledge and experience to Use of medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities and treatment procedures. This includes acute, chronic and traumatic illness/injuries, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology MTF guidance, or as directed by the Mental Health Flight Commander or his/her designated representative.- Participates in military specific training (e.g., training to perform Command Directed Evaluations, security clearances, Military Training Instructor clearances, pre-post deployment screening, PTSD, and combat stress) - Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals, families and groups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals).

Licensure:Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice independently without

clinical supervision as a licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Certifications:Must hold current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for

Healthcare Providers.

JobResponsibilities.The Licensed Clinical Social Worker's areas of responsibility shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following:

• Responsible for and apply social work procedures and techniques in the evaluation and treatment of adult psychological psychiatric disorders. Activities include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for and provide individual, family and group psychotherapy, and couples therapy. Consult to medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders and school districts, as required.

• Maintain accurate and current notes in both the Mental Health records and patient medical records of all patients seen, as appropriate, and produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment, as required. Adult Active-Duty Service Members Social Work Services.

• Evaluation. Evaluate adults from age 18-60. Perform psychosocial evaluations to assess and,/or treat emotional behavior problems, occupational problems, attention problems, organic disorders, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, social and interpersonal dysfunction, physical sexual emotional abuse and neglect, personality dysfunction and drug/alcohol abuse. Responsible for and applies therapeutic procedures and techniques, including interviewing, behavioral assessment, and evidenced-based therapies, in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adult mental disorders.

• Treatment. Provide treatment across a range of modalities to include Psychotherapy, group and family therapy with adults/Active-Duty Service Members. Treat adults/Active-Duty Service Members with adjustment disorders, depressive disorders, attention deficit disorders, anxiety disorders and phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder or other trauma (either psychological or physical), and support the psychological management of medical problems. Provide varied levels of intervention, including individual and group therapy.

• Consultation. Consult with other individuals and organizations to include other hospital services (e.g., Primary Care, flight medicine, medical case management). Provide consultation and feedback to commanders in order to relay results of treatment. Collaborate with other professionals in order to provide social work services to adults/Active-Duty Service Members and in making interventions within the psychosocial environment. Provide consultation which includes not only traditional clinical interventions that emphasize delimiting and remediating psychopathology in adults/Active-Duty Service Members, but prevention, and the encouragement of psychological health.

• Training. Attend and provide didactic seminars in the areas consultation-liaison and psychotherapeutic approaches to adult psychopathology. Provide consultation and workshops with hospital staff, and other personnel who work with adults on the theory and practice of working with this population. Research.
