This position will work at George Latimer Central Library located at 90 W 4th ST, St Paul, MN 55102. This position will work a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week onsite. This position works during normal business hours, with occasional evenings and weekends.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs professional work planning, implementing, and evaluating Library services serving adults and families focused on digital inclusion, workforce development, small business, and engagement services
- Works with management to develop the best and most efficient use of systemwide facilities and resources available to implement these services.
- Develops and maintains community partnerships at city, regional and national level. Works with City and library leaders to effectively meet goals and community-informed needs.
- Coordinates the acquisition and use of program resources and system wide Library facilities and responds to Library and community needs.
- Leads library staff in delivering library services in English and other spoken languages.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Linguistics, Youth Development, Language Arts, Education, Public Administration, or a related field, and two years of full time professional programming/project experience in a library, recreational, school based, or community agency setting. Professional experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
