Direct Support Professional (Dsp), 5 Hours/Week, Ihs, Eden Prairie

Job Summary

Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a open Direct Support Professional (DSP) position to fill immediately in Eden Prairie for 5 hours/week. Client prefers DSP with availability on Tuesdays or Wednesdays starting at 2pm. She also would like a DSP who could help 1 or 2 x annually during the garage sale on a weekend. No driving is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Needs support with cleaning and organizing her home
• Prepping, moving items for bi-annual community garage sales

Requirements:

• Fluent English speaker
• Friendly outgoing demeanor
• Some experience with organization
• Experience as a DSP or another type of caregiver
• Pass a background check

Additional Details:

• Allow up to 4 business days for your application to be processed.
• All DSPs will be provided training that is available online.
• MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage currently.
• MCS is a non-profit organization.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week

Schedule:

• No nights

Experience:

• Organizational skills: 1 year (Preferred)
• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
