Job Description
We have a brand-new opportunity for a Level 2 Support Technicianto join our client’s team onsite in the Tempe, AZ area. This role has an original training period of 4 to 8 weeks. During the training period, this candidate will be paired with a Senior Technician, working 6:00am to 2:30pm, then once training is completed, the candidate will work normal scheduled hours which will fall between 6am to 6pm.
This role is at a high-volume pharmacy supporting a production and manufacturing environment. This candidate will work with large copiers and printers, repairing and swapping parts, and working with the vendor to get items repaired. The daily duties will also include working with labeling printers Zebra, Intellitech label printers, and barcode scanners. In addition, this candidate will support Windows desktops / laptops, MAC book laptops and devices, Android mobile devices, and all types of equipment in this pharmacy. This candidate will be responsible for carrying a radio – responsible for taking radio calls from production environment, packing station down, calling IT (over the radio). This candidate will also work on tickets, but most of the day is primarily over the radio, and will be helping out to fix it arising situations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC), Break-Fix and End User Support activities as required
- Stage, build and image systems with standard client image
- Complete special projects as requested
- Provide technical training to more junior employees
- Troubleshoot End User hardware and software incidents
- Follow Asset Management policy and procedures. Complete monthly cycle counts
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of Deskside Support service experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical users
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Self-starter and self-managing, great organization and time management
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and basic business applications
- Printer and copier experience highly desired
- Good knowledge of Mac device support may be required
- A+, MCP, MSCE or equivalent certification desired
