Job Description
We have an immediate long-term contract opportunity with one of our key clients for a position of Desktop Support Technician, to work in Tucson, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems encountered by end users.
- Perform break/fix activities to address technical issues promptly and minimize downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop, workstation, and notebook computers to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide support for Windows and MS Office-related issues, ensuring smooth operation for end-users.
- Maintain accurate records of support activities and resolutions in a helpdesk ticketing system.
- Possess strong familiarity with relevant operating systems (e.g., Windows, MacOS) and software applications (e.g., MS Office Suite).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician are advantageous.
