Spherion is seeking a Legal Secretary for a Trust and Estate Team.
The Legal Secretary will provide administrative support to the legal team and assist in the smooth operation of the law office.

Process
Attorney time entry, correspondence and other documents
Responsible for client correspondence preparation and delivery (i.e., FedEx, UPS, USPS)
Maintain client and referral contacts in Outlook and internal database
Prepare estate planning document drafts (i.e., Power of Attorney, Power of Attorney Revocation, Advance Directives, HIPAA Authorization and Pre-Need Guardians Designation)
Client document filing management electronically and paper files
Coordinate meetings and communications with clients (including transmitting billing statements electronically) and maintain Attorney calendars
Prepare client post-execution binders and transmitting documents to clients electronically
Witness or notarize client documents and signings
Reception coverage as necessary
Work as team with office support staff
Available to work overtime when requested
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Knowledge of legal drafting techniques is a plus
Trust and Estate Knowledge
Legal Secretary is a non-exempt role and eligible for overtime
Paid Time Off (PTO) of twenty-five (25) days per calendar year
Forty (40) hour work week
