As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Providing clerical support such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Assisting in the preparation of correspondence and documents
- Managing legal cases by maintaining calendars, deadlines, and appointments
- Filing documents via state and federal e-filing systems
- Ensuring organizational efficiency within the legal team
- Communicating with clients and court personnel

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills:
- Five years of experience as a legal assistant / working in a law office
-Proficiency in proofreading to ensure precision in legal documentation
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong clerical skills to support daily office operations
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes
- Experience using AlaFile and other e-filing systems
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
