Highly proficient typist. Familiar with standard office equipment (copiers, multi-line phone system). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, high level of literacy, organizational and time management skills. Excellent grammar skills. Flexibility and willingness to learn/adapt.
Skills
- Proven working experience as Legal Assistant or Paralegal
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
- Knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
- Legal Assistant Certification or Degree
