Melick Law, LLC is a small ;aw firm with a focus on estate planning, with offices in Richfield, Port Washington, West Bend, and Beaver Dam.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorney in preparing legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate documents.
- Prepare and file legal documents with the court
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and signings for attorney
- Answer phone calls and provide professional phone etiquette
- Assist in overseeing marketing and social media presence
- Perform data entry tasks to update client information and case details
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of and proficieny in Microsoft Suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Friendly and courteous disposition.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and filing
