Personal Injury - Workers Compensation Law Firm - Legal Assistant

30-35 Hours Per Week - Flexible. Small Downers Grove location - casual environment, not a high pressure office.

Paralegal training or persons with some law office experience required - preferably in an injury law firm reviewing medical records and billing statements.

Interest in Personal Injury and Work Injury legal issues. Must be able to obtain and review medical records, billing notes, statements, etc.

Spanish speaking preferred given the Clients in this type of practice.

$18.50 (Negotiable) to start with review after 40 days. Some initial probation time to determine if good fit for both employer and employee. Given the pay and that it is a part-time job, residing near Downers Grove would be preferred.

I am considering a travel allowance if you live more than 10 miles from the office, but I am not in a position to offer remote - at home work at this time.

Comfortable with office technology, scanning, word processing, minor Excel - this is a requirement as there is little training provided as to these.

Weekly bank and post office visits. No benefits, but I will consider additional pay as substitute for Health Insurance.
