Legal Assistant

Job Summary:
Prominent Garden City Personal Injury Law Firm currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team! Must have strong organizational skills to accumulate medical records and maintain and organize personal injury cases. Must be extremely attentive to detail and have exceptional communication skills. Computer skills are required. Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills

- Motivated with attentive to detail

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgement

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while prioritizing assignments

- Computer literacy is required, must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, EXCEL and Outlook at minimum

- Must be able to work effectively within a team environment

- Experience in personal injury law firm

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Accumulate medical records, maintain and organize personal injury cases

- Perform multiple related duties as assigned

- 40 hour work week

JOB TYPE PAY AND BENEFITS

Full-time

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
