As a Legal Assistant on our team you will be responsible for:
Managing correspondence between attorney and clients
Maintaining electronic files
Scheduling and maintaining attorney calendars
Providing proactive and advanced legal support to the managing member
Extensive communication with clients, providers, teammates, and others
Meeting with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned projects
Drafting legal documents such as correspondence
Prioritizing activities and workflow; routinely monitoring reports to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships
Other duties as assigned
What you need to be successful in this position:
High attention to detail, be proactive, and self-motivated
Ability to both follow instructions, and to think and work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of legal language and principles
Ability and proficiency in the use of computers and company standard software specific to position
Ability to interpret and analyze relevant information
Ability to establish workflow, manages multiple projects and meets necessary deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Advanced Interpersonal Skills
Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in English/Spanish (Required)
