Legal Assistant

A successful personal injury law firm is accepting resumes for a full time Legal Assistant. The individual will provide administrative support for several paralegals and will be responsible for a variety of tasks. Experience in a personal Injury law firm required. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Request, organize and maintain medical records and bills.
• Prepare legal documents.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by paralegals.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of administrative office experience, preferably in a law office. Will also consider medical office experience.
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Dependable, fast learner, self-starter and team player.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with attorneys, staff, and clients.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.

• Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Office, and Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
