Established AV-rated civil litigation law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant. Litigation experience including working knowledge of the state and federal court e-filing systems. Responsibilities include working directly with attorneys and other legal assistants, communication with clients, drafting and revising pleadings and correspondence, calendaring, e-filing, scanning and file management.
Applicant must:
- Type at least 60 wpm
- Possess excellent computer and organization skills including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Have strong written and verbal skills
- Have a professional appearance
- Be a motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, dependable and a team player
- Have ability to work independently and multi-task
Full time position with benefits including medical, dental, life, long term disability and 401k plan. 37-1/2 hour work week. Salary DOE.
