SalaryOur esteemed international law firm's Las Vegas branch is currently in search of a proficient Legal Assistant to provide support to our team specializing in litigation. The ideal candidate should possess a high level of motivation and attention to detail, with adept multitasking abilities and the capacity to work autonomously. Familiarity with eFiling procedures for both Federal and State Courts is a prerequisite. Additionally, exceptional spelling and proofreading skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities for this position include offering administrative assistance to litigation attorneys and paralegals, meticulous proofreading and review of documents, timely production of accurate correspondence, and proficient management of eFiling procedures across various courts. Additionally, managing attorney calendars, maintaining electronic client files, and coordinating deposition arrangements are integral aspects of this role. Other administrative duties may arise as necessitated.
Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 10+ years of litigation experience within a law firm setting, along with proficiency in State and Federal eFilings. A high school diploma or GED is required, coupled with extensive familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PDF programs such as Adobe. Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are paramount. Experience with document management systems like FileSite or iManage is preferred.
This is a hybrid position only requiring 3 days a week in office.
