The Leasing Consultant assists residents in choosing the optimal apartment home for their unique needs within the available properties. The Leasing Consultant works with the ongoing goal of 100% occupancy. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining excelling public relations for the property.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the management of Property personnel, vendors and contractors
- Assists in the facilitation of monthly operations: compiling reports, monitors and head’s up rent collection efforts, make bank deposits, assists with eviction proceedings, reviews daily invoices and process as outlined by Manager.
- Walks the property and all vacant on a regular basis
- Monitors, assists and coaches Leasing Consultants
- Assists with inputting new applicants and the screening process, inputs new leases and renewals daily
- Ensures leases are complete and correct
- Assists with renewal efforts, shops comps on a regular basis and maintains a thorough understanding of the Property’s submarket
- Assists with handling resident issues
- Assists with all marketing and resident retention activities
- Assist with keeping the office, amenities and overall property clean and organized
- Scheduling and monitoring progress of maintenance staff and progress of turns, work orders and property cleanliness.

Requirements:
- This position requires some “on call” responsibilities as reasonably necessary to lease and deal with maintenance emergencies.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, realpage and other software)
- Must pass and maintain Fair Housing requirements as set forth by management company

- Position requires a minimum of 1-2 years on-site as a Leasing Consultant and/or Assistant Property Manager
- Demonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action.

- Experience with realpage software is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
- Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws.
- Be able to work evenings and weekends.
