Leasing Agent/Assistant Manager

We are looking for a friendly, motivated , and very organized individual to present and lease apartments to prospective residents as well as perform managerial duties. You will need to work well both independently and with maintenance staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Present property and provide amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants
• Advertise available units using a variety of media and promoting materials
• Confirm rental application data and personal references
• Stay knowledgeable of the property market status
• Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals
• Ensure proper maintenance and inspect units periodically
• Customer retention and working on renewals of existing tenants is very important

Skills

• 2 years leasing experience a plus and/or sales experience
• Managerial experience a plus
• Customer service oriented
• Knowledge of Appfolio software is a bonus but not mandatory
• Good with computers
• Good organizational skills
• Self-motivated
• Good multi-tasker
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
