We are seeking a Floating Leasing Agent to join our team and take their sales career to the next level! We're looking for a highly-skilled, motivated, and experienced sales agent to join our multifamily property management company. As a Floating Leasing Agent, you'll be responsible for 80% outside sales, leveraging your network to source business, and 20% inside sales between our properties around the Bay Area. Responsibilities:
· Prospecting to identify and target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending events.
· Lead self-generation through various channels, including referrals, networking events, and online platforms.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
· Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to advise clients effectively.
· Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the leasing process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, meetings, and outcomes, to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Assist with the leasing process, including application review, lease preparation, and move-in coordination
· Collaborate with the management and operations team to ensure efficient operations
· Utilize various software systems (e.g., One-Site, Yardi) for data entry and record keeping
· Adhere to fair housing laws and regulations
· The position requires the individual to drive from property to property, as they may be at different properties on different days. In some cases, they might even be at two different properties on the same day.
· Flexibility and the ability to manage time effectively are essential for success in this role.
Experience:
· Previous experience in leasing or sales is required (7+ yrs)
· Proven sales track record required
· Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with potential tenants
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Proficient in Excel
· Knowledge of contract negotiations and lease agreements
· Experience using CRM’s is required
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks and time-manage effectively
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
