Learning Resource Center Coordinator-Temporary

SUMMARY
We are looking for positive, organized, and skilled individual to be our Learning Resource Center Coordinator. Daily tasks include managing computer lab, work closely with students to mentor them, help them develop skills and complete on line classes. About Logan River Academy
Logan River Academy is a residential treatment center and fully accredited school for adolescent youth form ages 12-18. We help students struggling with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including: autism spectrum disorders, adoption issues, anxiety, oppositional behavior, bipolar disorder, borderline issues, PTSD, substance abuse, depression, ADHD, impulse control, peer pressure, anger management, self-esteem, grief/loss issues, family relationships, communication, and academic struggles
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage computer lab including care and upkeep of Chormebooks
• Mentoring and tutoring students
• Substitute teach

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High School degree Required/ Bachelors Degree preferred
• Experience with tutoring and/or substituting at a high school level
• Previous experience working with children with severe behaviors
• Technology background with direct experience with Google Suite

LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Logan River Academy).
Certification in Crisis Intervention required with the first training course provided after hire date. (provided by Logan River Academy)
Shifts/Hours: This is a fulltime position and will last roughly 12 weeks, typical schedule is M-F 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
