Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team and provide quality education and care to our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning , developing lesson plans, and providing individualized instruction to ensure each child reaches their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, excellent communication skills and the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to explore and grow.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress.
- Monitor and assess each child's development and provide individualized support as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and engaging learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
Qualifications: Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field or CDA
Preferred:
First Aid/CPR Certification for Adults and Pediatrics
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with educational curricula, including math, physical education, and tutoring techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
