Lead/Assistant Teacher Toddler Room

We are seeking experienced educators to join our state of the art, 12-month childcare center in Montgomery, NY. We offer children a warm, rich, high-quality learning experience which celebrates the individuality of each child. Our warm, positive environment values students and staff alike and provides best practice from infancy through Pre-K.

We are seeking special candidates for immediate hire to join our team of Wonderful Teachers. Candidates will work with students aged from 18 months to 36 months old in programs as needed. The scheduled hours range from 630am – 6pm Monday through Friday.

Qualified candidates will be reliable, responsible and have a passion for educating children. In addition, candidates must:

- LOVE CHILDREN

- Lead Teachers- CDA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood

- Support Staff - Minimum requirement is a high school diploma

- Have clear understanding of child development

- Have a strong desire to work with young children

- Be knowledgeable of child development

- Be eager to learn and develop on the field of early childhood

- Be willing to be coached/guided

- Be able to work closely with a team

- Have a calm/patient demeanor

- Be able to carry out the physically demanding work of lifting and holding children for hours and sitting on the floor

- Relate positively with young children in a mature and responsible fashion.

- Maintain a professional personal appearance

- Assist in other capacities, as determined by the Director.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
