Housing Forward, formally known as Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance (MDHA) is a backbone organization that leads the development of an effective homeless rehousing system. In partnership with 90+ public, private, and nonprofit institutions, we make the experience of homelessness in Dallas and Collin Counties rare, brief, and non-recurring. POSITION SUMMARY:
Housing Forward is seeking a Landlord Engagement Coordinator to join us in ending homelessness in Dallas and Collin Counties. This role will support the system-wide Landlord Engagement strategy by overseeing Padmission, a centralized property management system. This includes supporting the Landlord Engagement team, case managers, and property managers with rehousing efforts, as well as assisting the Housing Initiatives team on implementation of housing initiatives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESPONISBLITIES:
Under the supervision of the Director of Housing Initiatives, the Landlord Engagement Coordinator will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of Padmission online property management system.
- Ensure applications are sent to the landlord/property management team in a timely manner.
- Ensure all appropriate personnel have access to Padmission.
- Ensure documents are up to date (W9, Applications, Bulk Certificates, Rental Criteria, etc.).
- Provide training, feedback, and support to all users relating to Padmission.
- Unit and Property Database Management including, but not limited to:
- Maintains and operates Padmission and streamlines stakeholder communication.
- Update Landlord/Property Manager information.
- Ensuring all units are entered into the database in a timely manner.
- Coordinate between the Landlord Engagement Team and Flex Fund.
- Request move-in dates from the case managers on a weekly basis.
- Provide support and technical assistance to property managers and landlords.
- Support other housing intervention initiatives with data entry and reporting.
- Contribute to being a point of contact for landlords to support the team in maintaining relationships with property owners.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid state issued driver's license and car insurance. Travel throughout Dallas and Collin Counties is required, as needed.
- Limited requirements, must be able to maintain files and lift objects that weigh up to 25 lbs.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Housing Forward considers normal hours of operation Monday - Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. Some night and weekend meetings might be required to meet the need of partner agencies or to represent Housing Forward at community meetings.
- Employees are able to work both remotely or in the office. Current Housing Forward guidelines state that employees must work at least 3 days per week in the office, but this is subject to change.
COMPENSATION
- The salary for this position is $55,000 - $60,000.
- Housing Forward has a flexible PTO policy for all full-time employees. The office is officially closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, & Christmas Day. Housing Forward has MLK Jr., Juneteenth, and Election Day as Days of Service.
