Job Description
Prepares basic samples, materials, equipment, and other required tools for laboratory tests or development.
Plans projects after receipt including compilation of needed project materials.
Performs basic technical tests, analyses, and research based on formulas and project requirements; tasks are more standard and require limited judgment within established guidelines.
Completes appropriate forms and documentation regarding research and development processes, tasks, results, and conclusions; receives direction from other technicians or chemists on specialized or complex issues.
Establishes time line for assignments based on priorities with assistance from their supervisor, identifies and resolves conflicts
Writes basic reports, outline procedures used and results obtained
Responds to standard questions and concerns from plants, research technicians, quality control, and other internal parties regarding product testing and related programs and services.
