Job Description Summary
Lab Technician will be responsible for hands on lab work, and completion of product application testing of waterborne coatings and related market areas. Will be responsible for raw material qualifications from production and synthesis teams while maintaining a safe working environment in the lab.
Should have excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.

Job Description Summary

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Senior chemist in product qualification work
- Solve day to day issues involving formulation.
- Provide support to synthesis, procurement, and production teams.
- Complete other tasks as requested by senior chemist.
- Hands on Lab work.
- Maintain a record of all lab projects (retain samples, logbooks).
- Maintain a safe working environment in the lab.
- Assist senior chemist to execute projects and communicate results in a timely manner.
- Complete application projects and accurately report data to the supervisor.
- Maintain lab equipment, replace consumables and chemicals.
Additional Job Description
Education & Skills:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in chemistry or other sciences required
- Experience in lab environment is a plus
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Good time management skill, flexibility, and multi-tasking abilities
- Works well in a team environment
- Proactive, highly enthusiastic, and energetic
