OnsiteRole Overview:
This position is for a Sr. Lab Assistant who works under minimal supervision. Performs hands-on technical work on engineering products. Confers with Engineers and lab technicians on details and specifications to build and modify a wide range of products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Works under minimal supervision to provide technical build support to engineers and technicians on a variety of tasks.
- Performs moderately complex hands-on technical tasks that contribute to the completion of engineering projects and products.
- Works on circuit boards completing repairs, component insertion and replacement, and even inspection.
- Familiar with soldering techniques, both lead and lead-free.
- Builds cables and terminations for a wide variety of circuity types.
- Understands the engineering inspection and quality process and follows quality procedures.
- Reads prints, drawings, and schematics as needed to assist in the build process.
- Documents changes and inspection results as required for a wide variety of products.
- Uses hand tools, scopes, soldering stations, and other devices with skill and precision.
- Demonstrates successful soft skills - communication, attitude, leadership, and professionalism.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
