At Cityscape Dental we are seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician/ Dental Assistant to support our team amazing clinical team with helping create award winning smiles in our State-Of-The-Art practice in Chicago, IL . As our Dental Sterilization Technician/ Dental Assistant, you are highly skilled in indirect patient care, and supporting our clinicians with providing the ultimate patient experience. Your genuine care is transmitted in all interactions to the patients you serve. Schedule: This is a part time schedule and may tranistion into a full time schedule in the future
- Monday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: Off
Friday: Off
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off
- Assist the clinical team with the breakdown and set up of operatories
- Maintain sterlization area, including sterilization of all instruments and equipment used daily.
- Develop a relationship with the patient.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Patients are our number one priority and we always want to do what is best for them.
- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
- Maintain patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history.
- Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist.
- Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
- Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials.
- Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
- New Dental Assistant grads are welcome, willing to train someone on the job or 1 -2 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent ability to multi-task
- Experience with Dental Softwares as Eaglesoft a plus
