Your role:
At An's Gelato, we prioritize our energetic and vibrant atmosphere while valuing the interests and passions of our team members. We seek individuals with a strong enthusiasm for food, baking, or gelato making. Food experience is preferred, but we also welcome passionate candidates eager to learn the art of gelato making. The successful candidate will support our Head chef with prep work and making unique and delicious gelato flavors, as well as ensuring that all recipes are followed correctly and that all safety and sanitary regulations are met.
Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes for making cakes, cookies, gelato and other frozen desserts.
- Operate and maintain gelato machines, oven, and other equipment used in the production.
- Ensure that all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
Preferred Qualities
- Strong enthusiasm for food, pastry, and gelato production.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in kilograms/metric.
- A team player with a self-starting attitude, eager to learn and grow with our company.
- Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance and possess proficient kitchen skills.
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment
- Attention to detail, good time management, and adaptability to changing circumstances
We Offer:
· Compensation: $17.50 - $25.00 Hourly + Tips. (Tips are pooled and generous, adding another $7 - $9 per hour on average. Hourly will be base on experience)

Location Requirements:
This role requires flexibility to work across our locations in North Park and Del Mar. Applicants must be open to shifts at any of these locations throughout the week.
