Kitchen Manager-The KM is the captain of the kitchen. They work closely with GM and AGM to operate the restaurant with their primary focus on all things kitchen and food.

Location: This position will be at an Illegal Pete's restaurant in the Denver Area!

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • KM - All Kitchen & Shift Responsibilities (Open or Close)
  • Daily Team Deployment & Routines
  • Kitchen Prep Schedule / List - Prep & Pull
  • Tastes food for quality and flavor (at least 2X per shift)
  • Flawless Food Recipe Execution
  • Timing / Quality & Freshness of Food
  • Safety & Security - Food / Team

  • Interviewing, Hiring & Onboarding
  • Training - Initial / Cross-training / New Position
  • Team Member Development, Practices & Follow-up

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED)

  • Ability to listen effectively & give / take direction
  • Ability to work well under the pressure of meeting tight deadlines in a timely manner
  • Comfortable with the Computer and the functions that are expected from a manager

  • Requires walking primarily on a level surface throughout the workday
  • May include lifting to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Proper lifting techniques required
