Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food production and service. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food production and ensure adherence to recipes, portion control, and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for food and supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and create new dishes
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Implement and enforce proper food handling procedures to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in food preparation techniques
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, preparation, and safety protocols
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of catering, banquet, and shift management is preferred
- Proficient in using kitchen equipment and tools
- Must have a passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service
