We currently have an immediate full-time position opening for a Key Accounts Project Manager located in City of Industry, California.
Job Summary:
The Key Accounts Project Manager is responsible for overseeing daily sales administrative tasks and spearheading projects in support of Key Accounts, customers, and related projects. This role takes ownership of Key Accounts from order receipt to installation, and is an interdepartmental leader in managing key projects, customers, accounts, and orders.
Essential Functions:
Sales Administration
- Manage daily sales activities, including follow-up on sales leads, quotes, orders etc.
- Ensure email/phone response to all sales inquiries within 24-48 hours
- Collaborate with Marketing to track sales lead generation, sales conversions and ROI
- Launch HubSpot as new sales department tool for sales and customer relationship management
- Identify areas of improvement, including sales process, order efficiency, cost reduction
- Align sales strategy with management sales target, growth, and company vision
- Provide management with regular reports, presentations and updates on business development
- Responsible for effective recruitment, training, development, and retention of internal sales personnel
- Serve as Astrophysics ambassador for HQ customer visits, major industry events, tradeshows, and product demonstrations
Project Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective key account customers and dealers
- Serve as dedicated, accessible single point of contact for Key Accounts customers
- Align prioritization of key projects and metrics and manage orders based on customer and internal priorities
- Provide support throughout the life cycle of every project including project scope, order processing, sales configuration, engineering requests, customer communications, manufacturing status, shipment and installation in collaboration with Engineering, Production, Logistics and Service departments
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in business administration, project management, or related field; or bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience
- 4-7 years sales, marketing, and/or project management experience
- Manufacturing or security industry experience preferred
- Experience selling B2B or B2G a plus
- Outstanding organization and communication skills
- Ability to influence cross-functionally without direct authority
- Able to manage multiple tasks with competing timelines and deliverables
