Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Responsible for the day-to-day care of patients and boarders
- Safe handling and restraint
- Feeding and watering
- Walking and bathing
- Monitoring behaviors
- Ensuring the well-being of pets
- Interact with clients in person, over the phone and through social media
What You'll Bring:
- Must have previous animal experience
- Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects (up to 50lbs)
- A sense of fun and teamwork – Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply
- Dependable and able to work independently
- The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease
- A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets
- Previous animal experience
- References, background checks, and drug testing are required
- High school or equivalent (Required)
