The 2 most important skills we'll teach you when you start as a Kennel Manager will be:
1. How to safely socialize a small group of dogs with the help of an experienced coworker. We accept dogs with behavioral issues that no one else can because of how skilled our staff is.
2. How to have dogs walk nicely by your side. We'll start you with our easier dogs and help you work your way up to our more difficult dogs as your abilities improve and you feel comfortable.
Train Walk Poop is an established and well-loved dog training and dog daycare company, and we are seeking an exceptional person to add to our great staff. We have a great team of dog lovers who are all hard workers, and we're hoping you will be the next team member to join us.
I hope you will join us and help us continue our growth. We are looking for a manager who can fit right into our fun loving team of dog trainers and kennel techs.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling
- Hiring
- Employee weekly check ins and quarterly reviews
- Maintaining building and kennel cleanliness.
- Staff training when you're ready, for now we have a great team that can help do the staff training until you get settled in.
Occasionally your assistance will be needed on a weekend shift.
Your schedule while you're in training will be:
Sunday-Thursday from 11:30am-7:30pm

Requirements:
-Experience training dogs isn't required; experience as a manager is required.
-You LOVE dogs.
-You feel comfortable working with both BIG and small dogs.
-You can work with us for at least 3 years. The dogs and our team will want to develop a long-term relationship with you.
-You are available for the days/hours listed above.
-You can easily pass a criminal background check.
