Carolina Veterinary Dermatology Clinic is seeking a Full-Time assistant with a special interest in dermatology that wants to grow with and expanding specialty clinic. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of allergy skin and ear conditions in small animals through North Carolina and surrounding areas.
Current Location and where initial training will take place: 2961 Wendell Blvd, Wendell, NC 27591

Hospital Hours
Tues-Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00pm
Closed Sat-Mon
Technician Assistant duties:
- Client communication
- Animal restraint
- Following opening/closing procedures for hospital
- Performing routine cleaning
- Loading exam rooms
- Bathing
- Minimal front desk duties
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to work with or around sick animals, potentially hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, gas anesthetics, and unpleasant odors.
- Ability to always communicate professionally and effectively and maintain professionalism in emotionally charged / challenging situations.
- Ability to provide high quality customer service.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Ability to work effectively with computers and electronics.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift patients with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday
Education and Experience:
This position prefers at least one year of veterinary experience.
