We are looking for a motivated Veterinary Kennel Attendant to join our team!

Veterinary practice experience preferred but not required. We will provide on the job training. Our opportunity includes the following compensation package:

• $13.00 - $17.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
• Full or Part-Time commitment during weekly clinic hours: Monday – Friday (7:30am – 5:30pm) and split shifts on Saturdays and Sundays (8:00am – 12:00pm or 4:00pm – 6:00pm).

The Veterinary Kennel Attendant will ensure the well-being of animals under the clinic’s care and support veterinarians and their staff in providing high-quality veterinary medicine. Specific responsibilities include:

• Daily care of animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and administering medications
• Monitoring the health of animals in the kennel and reporting any signs of illness or injury
• Keeping the kennel clean and sanitized, including washing dishes, cleaning cages, and disposing waste
• Maintaining accurate records of animal care and treatment, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and health monitoring
• Monitoring boarded pets' behavior and ensuring they are comfortable and cared for during any stay
• Communicating with clients about their pets' care and providing updates on their well-being
• Assisting the veterinarian with procedures such as exams, vaccinations, and surgeries from time to time
