The Junior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the business operation, clerical, and accounting functions at the Santa Barbara BaseCamp office. This position provides administrative support to the Finance and Accounting department. Additional duties include typing, organizing, coordinating, scheduling, obtaining supplies and working on ad-hoc projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

General Accounting Responsibilities
- Bank Reconciliations for corporate entities
- Filing and Retrieving Corporate Records, Documents, and Reports
- Coordinate signatures for various legal documents
- Accounts payable support as needed
- Assist with payroll process as needed
Business Operations
- Assist with tracking and processing of insurance claims and workers comp as needed
- Track all incident reports
- DMV / RMV registrations: track, coordinate, and ensure compliance with multiple states and municipalities
- Participate in cross functional meetings as needed
- Monitor and track all licenses, permits, and leases, and renewals
Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate
- Prior accounting or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with an accounting ERP such as Intacct, Oracle, or SAP preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

Salary Description
$24-26 per hour plus benefits
