Copia Resources Inc is seeking a highly-skilled Junior Account Manager for our San Ramon, CA office to assist Account Managers in maintaining and expanding relationships with our high-value clients. We are looking for an exceptional, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of our industry and strong analytical capabilities. This is a challenging position with substantial responsibilities, and we are looking for candidates who can meet our exacting standards.
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday at our San Ramon office. This is not a remote position.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to develop and execute strategic client management plans, ensuring the delivery of exceptional value to our clientele.
- Proactively nurture and expand relationships with our portfolio of elite clients, demonstrating advanced relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of clients needs.
- Lead the packaging and presentation of complex contract deals to clients, showcasing advanced negotiation skills and a keen eye to detail.
- Work in synergy with Account Managers to optimize existing client portfolios and leverage relationships to acquire new properties for service proposals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between our office, clients, haulers, and field employees, demanding excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Initiate and manage email communication with clients, ensuring their evolving needs align with the company's vision.
- Be able to provide service and product expertise across our full scope of work and recognize upselling opportunities.
- Facilitate quarterly business reviews, client audits, and data assessments to be able to provide strategic recommendations and process improvements while ensuring maximization of cost saving.
- Onboarding new clients guiding them through the start of service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Act as a backup resource for our customer service team during staffing requirement demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in supporting each territory as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of high-impact client relationship management in an office setting or inside sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Exceptional proficiency with technology, particularly a deep understanding of Mac computers, and the ability to work efficiently with software like Word, Excel, and MS Office.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as an aptitude for delivering impactful presentations to clients.

- A proactive, fast-paced, and results-oriented mindset that drives continual improvement.
- Must commit to working from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM in San Ramon, CA, and must be available for work on select major holidays.
- Proven ability to excel under pressure, meeting tight deadlines across multiple projects.
- A willingness and capacity to travel as necessary.
- Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish preferred
