Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide the PLI Salesforce with cost based estimates for all custom products. Assist the PLI salesforce in assessing and providing for customers' needs. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of plant production capabilities and procedures. Merge appropriate cost and production information into production job tickets.
Job Duties:
1. Estimate cost of producing a finished product based on customer specifications received from the sales or operations department using the appropriate production processes.
2. When an estimate is accepted by customer and pricing is approved, merge appropriate estimating information into the job using the estimate prepared.
3. Assist pre-production with merging production process information in production jobs when the job is created by sales using price list estimating.
4. Assist scheduling with creating finished good jobs for production.
5. Maintain estimating standards in the Monarch OA module for estimating.
6. Calculate and merge gang runs.
7. Perform these and other duties as signed by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma.
2. Basic math and reading skills.
3. Ability to multi-task.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability for paying attention to detail (detail oriented).
6. Strong Excel skills.
7. Five years experience in printing industry.
